We ran an enthralling Listed feature with dark pop sensation Jessica Winter earlier this week in which the rising songwriter shared her melancholy-tinged 'Songs For a Funeral' selection (read here). Arriving just ahead of Winter's similarly sombre debut EP Sad Music (out today), final preview 'Chasing Nightmares' sounds like it was made to feature on a sexy vampire show. Juxtaposing heavily effected guitar slices that resemble metal being scraped by the talons of a bird of prey, polished trap beats and gut-wrenching synth bass combine to create a dystopian rhythm section.
